Continuing on their weekly residency at The Social, Bugged Out are bringing down 10 DJs to play us their top 10 summer records!
We’re running 2-4-1 on selected beers and cocktails in the basement, and it’s free entry!
After roaming festival dance stages and changing the face of pub raves forever, Bugged Out’s Little Bugger has found a weekly home every Thursday night at Central London’s famed institution The Social.
Despite being a long running mutant techno night, Bugged Out has always found time to let its hair down and party. Their New Years Day parties have become the stuff of legend and they’ve taken this pop spirit to festivals mixing classic Bugged Out tunes with house party pop and R&B. This is what Little Bugger is all about – join us after work to start the weekend early.
Helming Little Bugger will be residents Lemmy Ashton and Johnno, with special guests making unannounced appearances in the award winning London landmark.
Sasha Adamczewski is a 23 year old man from South East London with a powerful voice. From a young age he has played, written and performed his own material. Sasha’s influences have grown from figures such as John Martyn and Tom Waits, to a darker and blues driven sound with inspiration from artists such as Howling Wolf, Dr Feelgood and Screamin Jay Hawkins.
We’re delighted and honoured to have Sasha and his band join us for a four date residency this summer . . starting on August 7th – support artists below
Tin Foil Astronaut (7th August)
Canterbury based Psych Pop outfit, whom combine Huge glacial pop with catchy hooks to create a sound that rivals a full string band being beamed in from outer space. Doo wop inspired melodies and ambitious songcraft that is both classic and modern.
The Honkies (21st August)
Premium synth infused country honky-tonk from South London.
Bad Parents (4th Sept)
Bad Parents are a two-piece from South London working independently. Inspired by collaboration, improvisation and falling in love with music again! We recorded our EP in January with Margo Broom at Hermitage Works Studios in London. Some of our talented and good friends came down and got involved to make it special!
Lan Dyons & The Wet Nurse (18th Sept)
Over the past five years Lan Dyons (aka Dan Lyons) had perhaps been best known as the drummer for bands such as Fat White Family, Misty Miller and Phobophobes, but his real job is a songwriter. Since a teen in several Kent bands in the late-noughties he’s been busy writing, and the The Wet Nurse project has been tried and tested at various opening slots and open mics across London. Now with an album recorded, and a live band featuring some of the best musicians from the South London scene, Lan Dyons & The Wet Nurse is officially up and running
We’re celebrating summer and all the new beers we now stock on Monday and Tuesday (17th and 18th July) . . by having a half price beer festival!
Come and join us from 4pm until close (or we run out!) and enjoy all of these beers (and more) half price. No need for a membership card but you can book a table if you like.
Pass it on!
Lagunitas Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale (7.5%)
Way smooth and silky with a nice wheatly-esque-ishness. A truly unique style featuring a strong hop finish on a silky body. A hoppy pale wheat ale that is great for IPA fans but so smooth that the hefeweizen fans dig it too.
Lagunitas Aunt Sally – Sour Mash Ale (5.7%)
We soured the wort on the Hot Side with Lactobacillus for a few days and then brewed up this smooth and hoppy sour. It tastes like a big bowl of fruity candy or some chewable flavored vitamins, but what’s the difference? It’s sweet, tart, and sassy, just like the tasty cherry pie that your favorite aunt makes. For all the Aunt Sally’s out there, You know who you are…
Lagunitas High West-ified Imperial Coffee Stout (12%)
Ale Brewed with Coffee and then Aged in High West Whiskey Barrels
This beer couldn’t have been done without the help from our friends at High West Distillery in Park City, UT and Chicago’s-own Metropolis Coffee. We brewed a rich, malty Imperial Stout with some of Metropolis’ Spice Island blend, then let it vintag-ize in High West Rye and Bourbon Barrels for up to 17 FREAKING MONTHS. It’s good to have friends!
Lagunitas 12th of Never Ale (5.5%)
Tropically Hoppy. Light, yet Full-Bodied. Bright and Citrusy. Word.
The magical, mystical 12th of Never is a blend of Old and New School hops that play bright citrus, rich coconut, and papaya-esque flavors, all on a solid stage of English puffed wheat. Tropically hoppy. Light, yet full-bodied. Bright and citrusy. The 12th of Never Ale is everything we’ve learned about making hop-forward beer expressed in a moderate voice. Pale, cold, slightly alcoholic and bitter. It’s all we know.
Camden Town Brewery Inner City Green – Summertime lager (3.9%)
Blossom, bank holidays, and trainers with no socks, the first outdoor ice cream – or beer – of the year – everyone has their springtime signifier. For us, spring hasn’t properly sprung until we’ve had our first pint of hoppy, juicy, fresh Inner City Green
Two Roads Road Jam – Raspberry wheat beer (5%)
A wheat ale fermented with real red and black raspberries and accented with fresh lemongrass. It has a stunning red color and mouth-watering berry aroma. Fruity and refreshingly dry.

NEW EXHIBITION ON NOW
Bristol-based George Greaves studied illustration and visual communication at Westminster University and, after a stint working outside of the creative industry, has focused on producing creative projects for the past year and a half. George creates work that’s inspired by architecture and the built environments, drawing on influences that include Georgio De Chico, David Hockney, Matisse, Magritte and Escher. The careful composition of his artworks and bold graphic style has seen George produce works for the likes of Crack, Tom Dixon, The Financial Times and Stella Artios. Working almost exclusively in Photoshop, George relies on his instincts when creating images. “My creative process is very intuitive, I usually start with a vague idea and just see where it takes me,” he says.
