BAGGY MONDAYS 6TH BIRTHDAY
BAGGY MONDAYS 6TH BIRTHDAYDate: Friday 30th May Doors: 6PM-1AM Cost: £FREE
Back in 2002, we had an idea. "Wouldn't it be nice to hear Northside and Flowered Up records on a proper club soundsystem?" Thus, Baggy Mondays was born (though it's never been on a Monday night). It turned out we weren't the only ones who wanted to get our groove on to classics from the Roses, the Mondays, the Inspirals, the Charlatans and all the other Madchester faves. Lots of people did. Even famous folks like Kasabian and Kings Of Leon have crammed into the Social to cut some baggy rug. Since 2002, we've consistently had people dancing on tables, queues down the street and one of the friendliest, least up-tight crowds you'll find in a central London night spot. And now we're celebrating our sixth birthday. We hope to see you down there. Top one, nice one, sorted. Doors 6pm, free entry
