Throughout September some our favourite DJs are stepping into bring us five Saturdays of funk, soul, hip hop, house, disco and party business to keep us dancing until our brand new Saturday night starts in October.

22nd Sept – Yacht Rock

29th Sept – Relative

Doors 6pm-1am, free before 8pm, £5/£3 members

Carnival Warm Up Party + Mix

Madd Raff is our weekly dancehall party, every Wednesday night at the bar – as you can imagine they love Carnival and they’re are throwing a warm up party tomorrow to get things started before the weekend.

Faber Social Poetry Special

The Faber Social celebrates poetry on Monday 3rd September with some of the most exciting new talents around.  

Fiona Benson is a poet of vision and resonance who is working towards a debut collection.

Emily Berry writes wittily and wickedly about modern lives; her first book will appear in 2013.

Joe Dunthorne is the author of the celebrated novels Submarine and Wild Abandon and is preparing a collection of poems.

Toby Martinez de las Rivas’s incantatory debut will be published next year.

Sam Riviere’s 81 Austerities is published this summer in response to cuts by the coalition government.

Jack Underwood is a poet of skill, freshness and virtuosity, who is working on his debut.
