THE FIX (in association with BMI) will be back for our final night of the year at The Social on Tuesday December 5th with a line-up featuring the best new breaking bands. And as always, it’ll be FREE ENTRY all night.
PLAYING LIVE ON THE NIGHT – DOORS 7.30pm
EVERYTHING BY ELECTRICITY (9.30pm) – Exciting new dream pop band whose live show is something very special indeed – we won’t ruin the surprise but it’s going to look fantastic down The Social basement. Sounding like Alvvays meets Little Dragon, we can’t wait to have them headline our Xmas special!
MAUWE (8.45pm) – Real buzz about this new Bristol-based synth-pop band, whose debut single ‘That’s All’ now has over 1m plays on Spotify, and featured on the site’s Global Viral Chart upon its release. Clash Magazine recently premiered their new single ‘Smoked A Pack’ and it’s another warm, melodic treat. Keep an eye on them in 2018, but you can catch them here before that!
HANNAH JANE LEWIS (8.15pm) – Now signed to Polydor, Hannah Jane Lewis’ debut single ‘Why Start A War’ was covered by Popjustice, Line Of Best Fit, and Clash. 18 months later, she’s clocked up almost 2m Spotify streams, with recent single ‘Raincheck’ gathering plenty of attention and kickstarting what’s set to be a busy 2018.
AMALIA WATTY (7.45pm) – Solo show from an exciting new talent based in New York but originally hailing from Anguilla. She recently wowed a crowd Sofar Sounds and played the esteemed Afropunk festival over the summer in her new hometown, so catch the chance to hear an early evening intimate set before she goes global in 2018!
