Burglar
Burglar is an alternative rock band based in Dublin, Ireland. Willow and Eduardo formed Burglar after meeting in college in 2021 and bonding over their love of alternative acts such as Stereolab and Smashing Pumpkins.
Their backgrounds couldn’t be more different; Eduardo grew up around the punk rock scene in his hometown of Goiânia, Brazil, while Willow comes from the indie-pop scene in Dublin. However, their blend of inspirations has given Burglar a unique and addictive sound. Willow’s dissociative lyricism and Eduardo’s confessional style result in energetic and catchy songs with interchangeable vocal leads and omnipresent harmonic work, alongside distorted guitars and buzzing synths.
They’ve been a mainstay of the Dublin gig scene for the last few years. Following their much-anticipated showcase at Ireland Music Week in 2024, they have gone from strength to strength, selling out their first headline show in Dublin, completing a successful UK support tour with Belair Lip Bombs, and playing in iconic London venues such as Windmill Brixton, The George Tavern, and Moth Club, along with supports for Greg Freeman, Cruel Sister, and Adore.
Formal Sppeedwear
Loitering at the intersection of new wave, synth pop and art rock, Stoke-On-Trent’s Formal Sppeedwear deliver a timely parcel of geometric riffs, elastic bass lines and off kilter percussive work; rewiring ideas sewn by the golden era of recording technology into a dense tangle of sounds to unpack.
