Burglar

Burglar is an alternative rock band based in Dublin, Ireland. Willow and Eduardo formed Burglar after meeting in college in 2021 and bonding over their love of alternative acts such as Stereolab and Smashing Pumpkins.

Their backgrounds couldn’t be more different; Eduardo grew up around the punk rock scene in his hometown of Goiânia, Brazil, while Willow comes from the indie-pop scene in Dublin. However, their blend of inspirations has given Burglar a unique and addictive sound. Willow’s dissociative lyricism and Eduardo’s confessional style result in energetic and catchy songs with interchangeable vocal leads and omnipresent harmonic work, alongside distorted guitars and buzzing synths.

They’ve been a mainstay of the Dublin gig scene for the last few years. Following their much-anticipated showcase at Ireland Music Week in 2024, they have gone from strength to strength, selling out their first headline show in Dublin, completing a successful UK support tour with Belair Lip Bombs, and playing in iconic London venues such as Windmill Brixton, The George Tavern, and Moth Club, along with supports for Greg Freeman, Cruel Sister, and Adore.

Curiosity Shop

Curiosity Shop is an alt-folk group from Scotland, crafting richly textured songs that blend alternative folk with touches of jazz and echoes of the enduring musical traditions of Scotland. Rooted in storytelling, their songs explore imagery, often concerned with animals in the harmony of nature, as they are humans at odds with city life. Their sound is lush, ornate and steeped in emotion, striking a balance between sophistication and simplicity. At the heart of their music is the songwriting duo Sonny Scott and Ru Wallace, from Kintyre. The pair spent their teenage years writing songs together and developing a strong musical bond, while also cultivating their own distinct songwriting voices. After moving to Edinburgh to study music, they formed friendships with drummer Duncan Biggar, bassist Louis Taigh and Yann McAuley – a versatile instrumentalist, whose talents span accordion, flute, keys and harmonium. Since forming in early 2024, Curiosity Shop has built a growing reputation with standout performances at venues like Sneaky Pete’s, Summerhall, and the Pianodrome. Highlights include a busy turnout for their set at Tenement Trail 2024 and an intimate yet energetic appearance at Crowded Pub, organised by Scotlands tastemaker promoter, Crowded Flat.

Bleech 9:3

Dublin born, Streatham living Bleech 9:3 are truly the band of the moment. Playing a 90’s infused heavy alt-grunge, their music is catalysed by a longing which transcends the material realm, a fixation upon negative space, and the desire for complete erasure. Having already earnt a fierce live reputation on the Dublin and London scenes without yet releasing a single note of music, the time to catch Bleech 9:3 is now, before the world belongs to them.

Viddy

Alternative pop artist Viddy brings her seductive, tender and distinctive vocal to the world of pop music. Match that with hypnotising basslines, suave guitar and a sprinkling of electronica to create mellow pop songs that capture the audience, their imagination and invite them to share in all their ‘feelz’.

Pulling on influences including fellow strong female vocalists; Lana Del Rey, Lilly Allen, The Cardigans and Sharon Van Etten but with the alternative swag whilst on stage of Banks and sprinkled with production references to Portishead and Massive Attack, Viddy is breaking down the barriers between female pop stars and being a traditional frontwoman of a band.

Aged just twelve and obsessed with Taylor Swift, the impressionable young Viddy wanted a new guitar. The deal was that she wasn’t allowed one unless she could prove that she’d use it. Fast forward a few months and not only had she written her own song, coerced her siblings into forming a band, but she’d won the local battle of the bands, gaining a spot at the local Bedfordshire festival that summer.  Now convinced, her Dad bought her said guitar and since, the siblings went on to create their band which gained support from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, BBC Introducing, Radio X and The Metro Now going at it solo, Viddy has launched her career on a more pop tip.

Writing about what is true to her and her relationship experiences, Viddy’s relatable matter contains all kinds of complexities involved in romance, heartbreak, frustration and desire.

Her debut EP ‘The Girlfriend Experience’ received support at BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X, BBC Introducing as well as playlisting at Spotify from NMF to ‘alternative future’. Summer 2023 saw her longlisted for the Glastonbury talent competition, play stages at Reading & Leeds and support the likes of Low Girl,  Lissie Essau and Howlers.
