Formed at the start of 2025, The Mercury Fix are an international collective that blend psychedelic rock, jazz, and punk.
Comprising of Shae O’Leary (lead vocals, guitar), Richie Ulysses (lead guitar, vocals), Kaan Heath (Saxophone), Ian Tam (keyboard), Dougal Finlay (drums), and Max Saunders (bass) the six-piece were formed at a London music college by O’Leary, who initially set out to assemble a live band for his solo material.
However, as the group began rehearsing more regularly, they discovered their greatest strength lay in creating vast, dream-like soundscapes – leaving space for each member to improvise and bring their own distinctive style to the mix. This ultimately lead to the collective decision to relaunch as an ensemble.
With a range of influences stemming from King Krule right through to the early work of The Stooges, The Mercury Fix are delighted to welcome audiences to The Social on Sunday November 2nd for the start of an exciting new chapter.
Tickets are a mere £5, with a supporting lineup and DJs still to be announced.
