PLAYING LIVE ON THE NIGHT
THE NICKAJACK MEN (9.30pm) – This Glasgow quartet write instantly hooky indie rock, with hints of Grandaddy and Mercury Rev and are an incredible live experience. This is going to sound fantastic down the basement of The Social.
MARK McGOWAN (8.45pm) – An incredible soulful voice and some fantastic rousing songs mean Mark McGowan is a name to keep an eye on in 2019. His ‘Speakeasy’ EP came out at the end of 2018 with its lead track having nearly 75k plays on Spotify already, and this show is a preview of his new music for this summer.
SCARLETT RANDLE (8.15pm) – Originally from the north-east of Scotland but now based in Glasgow, Scarlett Randle has had an incredible 12 months, playing for BBC Introducing and the city’s amazing TRNSMT Festival.
RACHEL BARROR (7.45pm) – Originally from Dublin but now based in London, Rachel Barror is already an accomplished songwriter, working with many producers and songwriters including Ed Sheeran, Steve Dubs, and Ruadhri Cushnan, and now launching her solo career. We can’t wait to hear her open this special edition of THE FIX.
