Boomerang Process by Roy

I’ve just returned from the sold-out Liverpool launch of PJ Smith’s second collection of stories, Boomerang Process. It was so intensely enjoyable that I knew we had to get him down to London for another bash as soon as possible. We had a delay in getting the books delivered to us, apologies for that, but we have a full compliment now, we’re fulfilling all existing orders and are keen to spread word of his storytelling magic further.

PJ will be reading from his book, a short extract of which we’ll run below, and he’ll be joined in readings and chats by:

Terri White, author, journalist, script-writer, editor, rarely-spotted-back-in-London legend.

Richard Milward, who has written four eye-popping novels since he was 22, the most recent of which, the genius Man-Eating Typewriter, is a book within a book.

Simon Williams, who has run Fierce Panda records since 1993, when he was also editing the NME Live Reviews pages and commissioning Ted, is the author of the memoir Pandamonium, and on May 14 itself publishes Up The Packet: One Man’s Crisp Odyssey.

Georgia Brown: a writer whose piece for The Fence about borstal and her father took our breath away last month.
