Pearl2

Pearl2 are a London-based electronic trio fusing hypnotic club energy with shadowy trip-hop dubs. Their name has become an echo through the city’s underground, built on live performances that are raw, rhythmic and intoxicating, feeding as much on the crowd’s energy as on the trio’s own restless chemistry.

Their debut track “Watered Down” opened this year’s influential Slow Dance compilation and drew early praise from BBC 6 Music and So Young, who called it “an ominous serving of trip-hop, blasted through the lens of 90s rave culture.” The follow-up, “YrPearl2Keep,” first appeared as a limited-edition CD on new label Polished Stone in August, packed with fifteen remixes from some of London’s most exciting new producers (including PVA, Tatyana and 404 Guild).

Fresh from a late-night Green Man set, a full UK tour supporting Jadu Heart, and a winter packed with London shows sharing stages with the likes of Silver Gore, Good Sad Happy Bad, pollyfromthedirt, The Itch, Wing!, and a night curated by Daniel Avery, Pearl2 are quickly becoming one of the capital’s most exciting and unpredictable new acts.

KiosK

Leeds based electronic duo Kiosk make dance-punk influenced by the city’s diverse DIY scene. Their sound shifts between postpunk inflected dance beats, dreamy soundscapes and techno influenced electronoise, combining drum machines and analogue synthesis with raw lyrics and heavily processed bass.

MM’99

Bio:MM’99 is a rising force in electro-pop, crafting a fusion between hyperpop, techno, and ethereal ambient, drawing inspiration from the likes of Björk, Burial and Crystal Castles. Last year, she released her debut EP ‘HEX’, a deeply personal work that blends UK dance influences with echoes of 2010s witch house. Fast becoming a mainstay in London’s electronic/experimental scene and with shows around Europe, including a performance at Berlin’s iconic Berghain, MM’99 is becoming one of alternative pop’s most compelling new voices.
