A classically trained musician and long-time face of Soho’s legendary Black Market Records, she’s known for high-octane DJ sets and razor-sharp productions, her intense percussive blend of house and techno causes brilliant chaos on any dancefloor.
From Printworks to Amnesia, fabric to Warehouse Project, Koko to Watergate, Hilit commands the world’s most esteemed clubs and festivals, supporting the likes of Floorplan & Radio Slave and opening for Carl Cox.
Her Defected debut hit number one on Music Week’s Upfront Club Chart, while her releases on labels such as Rekids, Bush, COD3 QR, Snatch! and Domino garnered massive support from Radio 1 as well as Chloe Caillet, Paul Woolford, Tsha, Skream, Carlita, Jamie Jones, Haai, Eliza Rose, Green Velvet, Saoirse, Maya Jane Coles and Syreeta, to name a few; her innovative re-edits of Basement Jaxx and Laurent Garnier’s anthems have turned into official releases.
Her recent ascent has led to a string of high-profile invitations, Mixmag Lab live from IMS, her Fabric Room 1 debut supporting Groove Armada, a coveted Circoloco radio mix, and being hand-picked by Pioneer/AlphaTheta to launch their new Euphonia mixer.
