I am very sad to announce that we’re having to cancel our NYE SOCIAL 23 party on 31 Dec.
It’s been a really hard decision to make, but on balance we feel it is the right one for us right now. Our headliner Sean Johnston has got Covid and is isolating, he wouldn’t have been able to join us for his special midnight set. That added to the obvious general uncertainty has meant we have decided to remain closed until the New Year.
We will be back of course and will hopefully have rearranged dates with all the amazing DJs on the NYE bill to announce very soon.
Thanks for your understanding, this was a really tough one. So gutted. Ticket holders, refunds will be issued automatically to you.
Keep supporting venues, pubs and other nightlife where you can. Stay safe, be nice and look after each other.

It’s BIG vibes and ALL love this year for our 23rd NYE. We’re very proud and frankly a bit over-excited to unveil this line up of incredible DJs and good people!

SEAN JOHNSTON (A LOVE FROM OUTER SPACE) returns to the basement after the super special ALFOS party back in September.
We didn’t expect to be able to have him back in the basement so soon. He is a dear friend and always just amazing.
And that’s not all . .
RAW SILK played the opening weekend in July and have stuck with us ever since. Grace and Steph are best mates, brilliant DJs and now we like to think part of the Social family too. So good that they decided to be with us for NYE. Guaranteed to bring the party!
INNER TOTALITY is a DJ, party organiser and Balamii Radio resident who loves swampy 90s house, downtempo, soft trance and other balearic business. We’ve been loving his mixes here in the Social office and we’re looking forward hanging out with him and his crew.
TIA COUSINS also joins us with a bag of ‘in-between sounds’, spanning jazz, synth-pop and post-punk as well as EBM, cold wave, heavier techno, breaks and chug. The last year has seen Tia play Fabric for the first time, slots at the Tate, Brillant Corners and Love International, shows on NTS and Balamii, and lots more. This will be her Social debut and we’re well up for it!
CARL will be opening proceedings in the basement whilst upstairs all our lovely SOCIAL DJs will be there on the night filling the bar with wonderful music from 8-late.
Tickets will be popular we think for this, so advise getting one as soon as you can and not leaving it to after Boxing Day or something. This is a BIG one!

All guests must have valid proof that they have completed a negative PCR test within the past 48 hours OR a negative rapid flow test within the past 24 hours.
Only guests with a negative test result logged on gov.uk with confirmation by an NHS email or text will be allowed to enter the venue.
Please note proof of double vaccination alone via the NHS app wont be sufficient for entry on NYE.
Do not attend the event if you are displaying any symptoms, even if testing negative.
