Electronic music very much changed the path of my life, I’ve been constantly inspired by the artists I have met over the years and many of them have become great friends. Time moves on but the memories of those original connections are always with me.
I’ve always had the idea in mind of putting on a regular party that celebrates those lasting friendships made over the years through music, from Glasgow to London and further beyond. A Night that would gather the musical strands that have brought us together over the years, creating something new and at the same time hopefully inspiring others in the same way that it has for me. Music is a powerful force for good that brings us together, something that is arguably more important now than it has ever been.
The formula is simple, two friends, their music, a DJ box and a dance floor. Hope you can join us.

12th February w Richard Sen
I’ve known Richard for over 20 years, he’s an incredible musical talent and if that wasn’t enough he’s a gifted and world renowned graffiti artist too. I met him properly when he came up to do the Sub Club with his padded cell project live at Optimo with Dennis Young but had briefly met him in London at some point when he was working with Andrew on the sabres artwork. Since I moved to London we have become great friends and have produced 2 records together as Hackney Vandal Patrol with another one on the way for 2022. It helps that he literally lives across the road from me in East London and you can often find us drinking whisky in the various local watering holes on rotation on a weekday evening. Carl at The Social and I were talking about doing An Acid Memory down there after it’s refurb and with Richard’s history with Heavenly Records and his previous residency at The Social it seemed like absolutely the right thing to do. An Acid Memory is about friendship, music, celebration and collaboration so here lies a perfect example of why I thought it was important to start this party in the first place. See you there!
