Asian Tones: East & South-East Heritage Month
Following the success of the Unearthed series, Asian Tones is back with a new open mic-social event. This time aimed at new artists/those looking for initial live experiences spotlighting new to rising East & South-East Asian Heritage artists. The session will include performances by artists GZ Tian and Tamara Cañada. Join us to discover some new talent and expand your network, less than the cost of a bubble tea.
GZ Tian is a rapper, singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist – who’s musical ability shine through in his diverse soundscapes, which draw from jazz, hip hop to indie rock, with a fusion of world music. The artist particularly likes bringing in his Chinese heritage, as he plays multiple traditional Chinese instruments. GZ Tian believes in the importance of bringing sincerity into his music and being true in creating tracks to how he believes it should sound.
Tamara Cañada is an RnB artist based in North West London, who’s music merges elements of RnB, Jazz and Synth Pop together to create her dark sultry sound.
