Join us for the album listening party followed by exotic and esoteric DJ sets by London-via-Istanbul-via-Poitiers seductive psychedelic-jazz duo and dedicated vinyl diggers Kit Sebastian (Mr Bongo), graphic design and decks legend Raissa Pardini and cinematic dancefloor sounds explorer Mondo Erotico (Noods Radio, Radio Raheem).
Expect visuals and an exhibition of posters from the golden age of Italian Giallo and Horror cinema.
Featuring a frenzy of baroque harpsichord melodies, haunted lullabies, obsessive tribal rhythms, psyched-out fuzzy guitars and easy listening charm, PAURA sheds a much-awaited light on the Horror repertoire of cult Italian cinema composers such as Oscar-winner Ennio Morricone, Bruno Nicolai, Franco Micalizzi, Luis Bacalov, Riz Ortolani, Luigi Ceccarelli,Marcello Giombini, and many others.
