At The Social
Our next ‘At The Social’ night of 2023 sees another very special guest. We’ve been trying to sort a date with Paulette for ages so we’re delighted to finally make this happen after her appearance for us at Stonebridge at Glastonbury in the summer. Should be a Social classic in the making.
Winner of the DJ Mag 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award, over a 30-year career, Paulette has scaled the heights of dance music fame and hedonism playing disco, house and techno to huge crowds at festivals and in cool underground basements across Europe. One of two women to have a residency at the Hacienda in its heyday, she went on to have residencies at Heaven and Ministry of Sound, before successful stints in Paris and Ibiza. She is of course also known for her brilliant monthly radio shows, with Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM, Reform Radio and a Global Residency show produced in collaboration with The Radio Department that is syndicated to stations around the world and is a regular DJ and stand in presenter for BBC 6 Music.
It is an honour to welcome DJ Paulette to our basement for a big end of year session.
