Fiyah Wata Sound returns with the third instalment of a new monthly residency at The Social. With no genre limits or restrictions – expect sounds built for dancing together – from hand-built bass bins to pirate frequencies and carnival trucks in the sunshine.
This month we have special guest Danny Rankin aka Decoy from UK Garage fuelled british comedy phenomenon Kurupt FM (People Just Do Nothing). Behind the decks Danny has been steadily building a name for himself as a heavyweight dancehall selector, lighting up festivals all over the UK and turning over superclubs. Expect dubplates and carnival heat.
Next in line Rubycon steps up, bringing pure vibes and energy, from reggaeton to afrobeats, UKG to funky and beyond. The soundsystem operator and free party specialist will be representing his co-founded clubnight Sweet1 and Leeds warehouse institution Dilation.
Lizey, original Fiyah Wata family, will be back in control warming things up after a blazing set last month, delivering pure high energy soca, dancehall and sunshine edits.
Finally, residents Benjamin D and Chey Selecta bring the electricity of their club night and online platform ‘Free Yard’. High energy exploits ranging across the spectrum from brand new dancehall to UK rap and beyond.
