Demonly anti social collective is back again with another stellar edition of FRACAS – introducing Fitzrovia to The Social staffs favourite new bits from around the city. The last one absolutely popped off so you’d be a fool to miss the sequel. This time the evening features Morgan Noise, Bandwidth Theif, PETSEMETARY and Bird House, plus resident DJs Sam Stone, Acid Mojito and HMS Buckfast!
Morgan Noise
Unexpected rhythms, wonky synths and vocals are woven together by Morgan Noise in a perfect chaos. A regular at the Windmill, and having supported Porridge Radio on their tour last autumn, Morgan Noise has been making waves around London. Something new to wash out your ears, you will not hear what is coming until it’s too late. The debut Noise single ‘Further’ was released on Slowdance’s ‘22 compilation in January
Bandwidth Thief
Presents a live analogue modular dance music set with his recent invention ‘Meg’, which derives its name from the title ‘Mega Machine’ (mega enormous giant alien).
PETSEMATARY
“Ethereal noir pop with soaring vocals and psychedelic chasms”, describes the music of East London based singer-songwriter Gaby-Elise, aka PETSEMATARY. Influenced by artists such as Elliott Smith, Sparklehorse, and Jeff Buckley, the sound of PETSEM combines raw atmospheric guitars with heavily reverberated oversharing.
Bird House
Bird House is a solo singer/songwriter based in London, performing contemplative, alternative folk songs and weaving them together through ambient, psychedelic passages of improvised guitar.
