Event Details

Experience London’s rich diversity of sound with artists spanning dark psych and post-punk to pulsating electronic and hardcore punk. The night promises unfiltered energy, with live bands and DJs keeping you on the dance floor until the early hours. This isn’t your typical celebration, come join the fun!

London-based four piece Handcuff formed in the summer of 2022, comprised of Ayesha, Duncan, Anna, and Mazz. Coming together from different corners of the South East’s DIY punk and indie scenes, they find a home somewhere in between noisy indie-rock and fast punk and hardcore, describing themselves as “short songs for bored people.”

Barbican Estate

Barbican Estate formed in Tokyo in 2019. They’ve consistently played shows in the Tokyo underground scene along with releasing an EP and 3 singles in 2020. They released their 1st album Way Down East in winter 2021. Barbican Estate uses drones, psychedelic soundscapes, driving rhythms, and vivid lyricism to create their massive sound. The band’s influences include Japanese psychedelic/noise rock, US experimental bands, classic film, as well as literary and architectural movements.

From 2022, they moved to London, and are actively working mainly on live performances.

They released their second EP The Fall in winter 2022, and their headline shows in London are often sold out.

Aesthetically average 3 piece playing song focused rock/post punk. 2 x gold medalists.

Originally formed in Brooklyn NY as a late night show on independent internet radio station Newtown Radio (https://newtownradio.com/) has since expanded into a collective of music lovers bringing together top tracks and quality vibes across the music spectrum. Lean back and trust the DJ.

Wordcolour is UK-based Producer and DJ Nicholas Worrall. His debut EP ‘Tell Me Something’ was released by Barcelona’s Lapsus Records in July 2020, quickly followed up with the ‘Juno Way’ EP for the Fabric-affiliated label Houndstooth, described by DJMag as “three tracks of emotional, beautifully designed electronic music for both the dancefloor and for headphones”. In 2022 he released his more ambient-focused debut LP ‘The trees were buzzing, and the grass’, and this year has caused quite a stir in the club scene with his “Ratios” series of 2-trackers for Houndstooth, which along with a series of collab and remix releases in 2023, place Wordcolour firmly back in experimental club territory.
As a club DJ, his sets are full of twists and turns. At times deep, at times raucous, they explore a wide variety of styles and tempos whilst staying focussed on the journey. He has recorded mixes for Bizarro, Bleep and FACT, and as well as radio slots for Rinse, Noods, and KEXP.
