TABI: Brighton-born and based Tabitha Barrowcliffe, aka TABI, grew up immersing herself in the catalogues of iconic singers Fiona Apple, Amy Winehouse, Sinéad O’Connor, and Duffy. Her songwriting, powerful voice, and charisma carry a similar startling immediacy to when these artists started out.
John Robb, writing about her latest single Write A Song About in Louder Than War said ‘… this is classic teenage anthem pop.. with her classic, almost country-tinged voice, rich in texture and emotion, could TABI be the latest iconic voice to appear out of the ether?’
MARTHA AND THE FAIRY: Martha and the Fairy is a singer songwriter from London. She has been writing songs since she was 15. Her influences range from CBGB’s era Blondie and Blond Ambition era Madonna, to 90s Blur, The Strokes and Haim. She’s released 3 singles and has radio support from BBC Introducing, who asked her to play on their stage at Readipop festival with her band in 2024.
‘The brilliant britpop sounds of Martha and the Fairy… I love what she does’ – Dave Gilyeat of BBC Radio Oxford.
