AWATE is a visionary rapper from Eritrea weaving together psychedelic melodies and sharp, witty lyrics. Born in Saudi Arabia and raised in Camden where he was a Resident Artist at The Roundhouse, AWATE gained the respect of artists such as Yasiin Bey (Mos Def), Lowkey and Pharoahe Monch as one of London’s finest writers.
London UK rapper Clive Mercury has been developing his distinctive concoction of Hip-Hop/Soul since 2017. He is influenced by an eclectic range of artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Skepta, Erykah Badu and more. All his releases to date have been pushing limits and are thematically subversive.
Flossy Jones blends cinematic instrumentation and electronic beats, destabilizing lyrics led by a sultry vocal line reminiscent of Lana Del Rey, Sky Ferreira and Wolf Alice – Brighton starlet Flossy Jones returns to London off the back of her collaboration with producer David Sant with the sparkly chill hop single, Day I Dream. Known for her big hair and big voice, Jess Fitz is a jazz-pop singer-songwriter based in South East London. Taking influence from artists including Amy Winehouse, Lizzo and Whitney Houston her songs feature jazzy melodies over funk-fuelled bass and brass, and are tied together with soulful pop choruses. Her lyrics are smart, sassy and always tell a story.
