When Ransom Note was kindly invited to host a party in Soho, the much loved, lesser travelled, bohemian haven of central London we couldn’t say no. How could we with all its history? The stories from pubs and offbeat parties gone by? The red lights and neon signs? The dark corners upon which old friends used to lurk?

Kicking off the first of a new party series at The Social we will be joined by Jaye Ward, an artist who has been pivotal in underground music culture in the capital having worked in countless record shops in Soho and blossoming into a well travelled, versatile selector – with Dj Harvey a keen fan.

On the night she will be joined by our editors Rosie & Ally – with Rosie one half of rising duo Kiara Scuro and Ally the founder of Pleasant Life Records.
