As the year once again draws to a close and another one looms out of the fog, we brace ourselves for what comes, pour a pint and think about our final party of 2022, the first of 2023 and our 24th year here on Little Portland St. 

Maurice Fulton, a true house original. A special Social debut.

After missing out on NYE last time we’re counting our blessings that we can once again announce that our brother Sean Johnston can join us for a special midnight ALFOS ceremony to bring in the new year correctly. 

Supports comes by way of a (still growing) cast of excellent people and DJs including Deb Grant who’ll be laying down her trademark foundational disco, P-funk, soul, 80s boogie and early rap upstairs, an in-demand selector who has been tearing up dance floors and the airways alike the last 12 month with superstar appearances on her beloved Jazz FM and now a deserved 6 Music regular as well. 

Setting the tone in the basement is the fantastic Stuart D. Alexander, frequent protagonist at all the best pre and afterparty madness that the sublime Convenanza Festival has to offer and now London resident for David Holmes’ God’s Waiting Room as well. The Social’s own Carl Gosling will be on hand to charge the DJs glasses, flash the lights, blast the smoke and jump on the decks for some left field electronic action at some point in the evening, all the Social DJs in full effect of course, and more still to come too! As always arrive early, stay late. Onwards x
