The Quietus Social: Stephen Mallinder presents ‘Um Dada’
Following on from the sold out success of Stewart Lee in conversation and an evening with Joy Division’s Stephen Morris, The Quietus Social presents the London launch of Stephen Mallinder’s first solo album in 35 years ‘Um Dada’.
The industrial pioneer, known for his work with Cabaret Voltaire, Wrangler, and Creep Show, will be in conversation with The Quietus editor John Doran, and will perform a live set.
There will also be a DJ set from WARP records’ Lonelady and more acts TBC.
The evening will begin with a unique listening experience – a full vinyl playback of The Pop Group’s seminal ‘Y’ album, newly reissued as a brand new half-speed remaster for its 40th anniversary. You will hear it here for the first time anywhere.
