Anomaly; plural noun: anomalies

1. Something that deviates from what is standard, normal, or expected.

‘Anomalies’ are a series of experimental prints using various techniques and styles to create images that represent traditional Japanese masks, dolls and samurai helmets. They were first shown at Wall&Wall, Aoyama, Tokyo, at the ‘Keltronika’ event, alongside performances from Gwenno, Cian Ciaran and Rhys Edwards, as part of Wales Japan 2025.

This exhibition is the first of a three month residency at The Social. Showcasing James’ diverse and eclectic style of work.
